I love it when friends of the Bride say “She looks like her, but brighter. She is glowing!” and that’s exactly what Lisa’s friends said. That’s what we try to do! Maintain the Bride’s natural beauty but enhance it. The idea is to have the Bride feel comfortable AND beautiful.
The Bride doesn’t typically wear much makeup, which is quite common, so we obviously wanted to keep things quite light and subtle for her. The worst thing to do is load on the products and have the Bride feel uncomfortable all day on her wedding day. Lisa has amazing blue eyes so we just defined them with some very subtle gold tones and a few little individual lashes on the outer corners of each eye. We decided to brighten her complexion by airbrushing her foundation. Underneath her foundation we gave her a bit of glow by using a brightening cream and it worked great! She looks like her skin is glowing! For her lips we gave her a little lipstain to add some base colour and finished it with some sheer shimmery gloss over top. Look at her pictures! Stunning. What a gorgeous Bride.
The Bride chose to have her hair pulled into a loose wave side updo and added a beautiful flower hair piece.
This wedding was so much fun to be a part of. I had so much fun creating this really soft subtle look for the Bride and the photos turned out fantastic! Congratulations Vince and Lisa!
